Media: Doctor WHO (Camerawork: Blog Tasks)

1) Three camera shots: At 45 seconds (0:45,) there's a close up shot which implies that what she's about to say is important and serious or one of the two. 2 minutes and 55 seconds (2:55) We see an extreme close up shot of a wire of some sort powering up a machine that is really powerful. At 3 minutes and 31 seconds (3:31) we can see a high angle shot which makes the human look insignificant and small compared to the machine, it makes the signal look more powerful.

2) Camera Angles: The over the shoulder shot places the audience in the position of a participant or observer. Over the shoulder shots can serve as a character's point of view, this also allows the audience to see what the character is seeing; this added realism.

3) Mise-en-scene: The setting during while making the signal shows the audience that the props used are supposed to be futuristic and alien, this helps create the otherworldly and immersive atmosphere in the show. This can intimidate the audience in a way as it is technology beyond our understanding.
